Prestige Communications, Inc. (PCI) was founded in 1985 by Glenn R. Bright and Marjorie. The characteristics of the founders of Prestige Communications, Inc. has resulted in broad and flexible goal setting to meet the ever changing demands of the quick moving marketplace requiring their products and service.
Glenn and Marjorie have extensive two-way radio communications experience as a special mobile radio service (SMRS) starting in the 450 MHz trunking spectrum, furnishing full line sales and service to the construction field, business and governmental agencies as well to the private sector for many years.
Since the early 90's Prestige Communications, Inc. has a full 10 channel trunking 900 MHz radio system installed at the Orlando International Airport (OIA), furnishing both equipment sales and service to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) and tenants located within and around OIA which demands 24 hour 7 day service.
From the beginning Prestige Communications, Inc. has stayed with only Kenwood and Motorola radios and accessories. It did not take Kenwood/Motorola long to see the very extensive knowledge in the sales and service that PCI provided, so PCI was made an authorized Kenwood/Motorola service center.
Prestige Communications, Inc. with their extensive background in working with and selling to governmental agencies within the State of Florida was named as a Gold Dealer authorizing total sales and service to all governmental agencies and their employees.
